The project "I'm not a Robot: working with artificial intelligence in early childhood education" is a European project that addresses the challenge of responsibly familiarizing preschool children with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

The main mission of the project is to equip educational professionals with the necessary tools to promote a reflected and responsible approach to AI in early childhood education. Emphasis is placed on the development of foundations that have long been lacking. The values of the project focus on the productive, fair, social and peaceful use of AI.

The project offers a series of 12 Toolboxes that provide educational professionals with innovative didactic methods and materials for use in kindergartens. Each Toolbox is based on children's questions about robots and makes it possible to use existing materials and media for teaching about AI. In addition, an eLearning Platform is offered, through which teams can learn the toolboxes and integrate them into their daily work.

The project is committed to long-term changes in early childhood education by developing sustainable approaches to the integration of AI. It promotes collaboration between educational teams, parents and multipliers from other institutions to strengthen the responsible use of AI.

Summary: "I'm not a Robot" is a pioneering project that promotes the use of AI in early childhood education in a responsible way in order to train a future-proof generation. Through innovative toolboxes and an eLearning platform, the use of AI in kindergartens is supported, while long-term, sustainable educational goals are pursued.
