Kita Naturdetektive

The non-profit company "Naturdetektive gUG" was founded in spring 2016 as an independent provider. Our goal is to offer families and children comprehensive and individualized education, regardless of their background, culture, religion, or social status.

• Individualized Education: Our daycare centers provide individualized and differentiated education based on the unique needs and abilities of each child. We promote not only the transmission of knowledge but also the ability to utilize, assess, understand, and apply this knowledge[1].
• Nature Educational Approach: Nature serves as an additional educational space. We use nature to promote movement, physical activities, imagination, social behavior, creativity, and perception in children. Our facilities are equipped with play, craft, and learning materials as well as furnishings made from natural materials[1].
• Open Principle: Our educational work is based on the open principle without age separation, which allows children more autonomy and self-organization in learning, development, and educational processes[1].

• Inclusion and Diversity: We place great value on cultural and individual diversity and see it as an enrichment. Each child is accepted and supported as they are, without being forced into predetermined patterns[1].
• Self-Development: Our philosophy is based on the idea that children explore their limits through self-chosen risks and challenges, thereby developing trust in their own abilities. This helps them overcome their fears and gain security for their entire lives[1].

• Quality Assurance: We regularly offer training and further education to our staff and conduct internal and external evaluations to continuously check and improve our quality[1].
• Nature-Connected Education: Through close collaboration with forest schools and nature labs in Berlin, we implement our nature-oriented concept and use nature as an ideal space for movement and education[1].

• Themed Festivals and Celebrations: Instead of celebrating annual festivals, we organize themed festivals and celebrations that serve as opportunities for coming together and strengthening the cultural and individual diversity of our community[1].

The "Naturdetektive gUG" is a learning organization that continuously works on improving and adapting its methods and facilities to meet the needs of children and society. Through our nature educational approach and our open educational attitude, we create a comprehensive and supportive environment in which children can grow and thrive.
