KAW Mainz und Mainz-Bingen AöR

The Kommunale Abfallwirtschaft Mainz und Mainz-Bingen AöR (KAW) is a public-law disposal company that specializes in environmentally friendly and efficient waste disposal in the city and district. The KAW was created in January 2024 through the restructuring of the disposal company of the city of Mainz and the waste management company of the Mainz-Bingen district.

• Waste Disposal: The KAW takes over the collection and recycling of household waste, including residual waste, organic waste and paper. It also offers bulky waste collection on demand.
