Katholische Landjugendbewegung Deutschlands e.V.
The
The Katholische Landjugendbewegung Deutschlands e.V. looks back on over 75 years of existence and currently has 70,000 members. It is one of the largest Catholic youth associations and a recognized provider of free youth welfare according to § 75 SGB VIII. The area of activity of the KLJB extends across the entire federal territory and, within the framework of membership in the International Rural and Agricultural Youth Movement (MIJARC), into its European and global structures. As KLJB, we address the interests and needs of young people and young adults and the challenges of rural areas. Especially in our national structures at the federal, state, diocesan, and local group levels, we advocate for the interests of children, young people, and young adults in the church, politics, and society. With our diverse offerings, we provide
young people with a strong social network and a spiritual home. Traditions carried out for decades are highly valued in the KLJB, and with the many different actions, we actively shape the church on-site and the village community.
