The IKEM Institut für Klimaschutz, Energie und Mobilität e.V. is a non-profit association and independent research institute that has been conducting interdisciplinary research on the central questions of the energy and mobility transition since November 2009.

The IKEM focuses on the analysis, evaluation, and development of strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The research priorities include:
