editInMachines is an innovative company based in Schwarzenbek, Germany, specializing in the development and provision of open-source machines. Our main goal is to enable the replication of these machines worldwide through the use of digital manufacturing technologies. We offer not only the hardware but also the necessary knowledge to build these machines together with our customers. This empowers Fab Labs, local communities, and all interested parties to develop similar tools independently.
Key Products and Services
editOur product range includes a variety of open-source machines that serve as powerful learning tools. These include, among others, 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC milling machines. A standout example is the BigFDM, the largest certified open-source 3D printer, as well as the LaserDuo, the first open-source laser cutter that integrates two different laser sources. These machines provide a unique learning experience as they cover a wide range of skills, from 3D printing to laser cutting to electronics production and design.
Additionally, we offer tailored services for Fab Labs, including mentoring as part of the Fab Academy, targeted training, machine procurement, as well as the setup and evaluation of Fab Labs. We also provide open-source designs for electronics and drones.
