editThe Internationaler Bund (IB) is one of the most significant service providers in youth, social, and educational work in Europe. Founded in 1949 in response to the events of World War II, the IB stands for the values of democracy, social participation, and acceptance. Our motto, "Strengthening Humanity," reflects our commitment to supporting people of all ages and backgrounds on their path to a self-determined and responsible life.

Vocational Education: The IB offers comprehensive vocational education programs, including vocational preparation, vocational training, continuing education, training support measures, and retraining. In various regions, we operate vocational schools, technical schools, special vocational schools, and vocational high schools[1][2][4].

Social Work: Our social services include homelessness assistance, youth social work, migration and refugee assistance, educational support, youth migration services, and justice-related services. We operate apartment houses, clearing houses, and offer outpatient as well as long-term and transitional assistance[2][4].
