Humanistic Management Practices gGmbH (HMP) is a do & think tank based in Berlin, dedicated to the promotion, dissemination, and research of socio-ecological and democratic economies. Our approach is deeply rooted in a humanistically inspired ethics that prioritizes the common good and ecological sustainability.

HMP offers comprehensive consulting and support services for companies and organizations. These include individual interventions as well as holistic consulting processes aimed at supporting and promoting organization-wide changes. In addition, we conduct practical research to explore and document the various forms, obstacles, and benefits of eco-fair economies[2][5].

Our mission is to develop and promote successful business models that are not only economically successful but also meaningful from a societal perspective, fair, and ecologically sustainable. We believe that eco-fair economies make for a future-proof and long-term successful approach and contribute to solving global problems. Our work is characterized by the values of cooperation, solidarity, democracy, and ecological sustainability[2][3].

HMP is deeply rooted in the movement of the common good economy and supports various initiatives aimed at sustainability and social responsibility. We are a member of the international Humanistic Management Network, the German Global Compact Network, and the Federal Association for Sustainable Economy (BNW). Furthermore, we have joined the Initiative for Transparent Civil Society.

Our sustainability initiatives include fair collaboration with service providers, the use of public transport, bicycles, or trains for travel, avoiding flight miles, and purchasing eco-fair products. Our website is operated in a climate-neutral manner. We have already created a common good balance sheet several times to make our progress and commitments transparent[2][3].

Our vision is to contribute to a world where all people can lead a good life within planetary boundaries. Through our educational work, consulting, and research, we support organizations on their path to a common good-oriented development. We are convinced that our work makes a significant contribution to solving global problems and promotes a future-proof and successful way of doing business.
