Hochschule Osnabrück

Hochschule Osnabrück, founded in 1971 and existing in its current form since 2003, is the largest and most powerful university of applied sciences in Lower Saxony. It is operated by a public law foundation and has its administrative headquarters in Osnabrück. With locations in Osnabrück and Lingen, the university offers a wide range of educational programs.

Hochschule Osnabrück offers over 100 practice-oriented bachelor's and master's degree programs as well as continuing education programs, which are housed in four faculties and the Institute of Music:

• Agricultural Sciences and Landscape Architecture
• Engineering Sciences and Computer Science
• Management, Culture and Technology (in Lingen)
• Economic and Social Sciences
• Institute of Music

The university is particularly known for its research-oriented approaches and has focused on various profile-defining research priorities, including health services research, agricultural systems, innovative materials and material technologies, as well as energy systems and economics[5].

Through the Science to Business GmbH, Hochschule Osnabrück consolidates its activities in the field of technology and knowledge transfer and offers application-oriented research, development, and consulting for companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. This strengthens the economic and social contribution of the university in the region and beyond[2].
