High Performance Battery (HPB) is an innovative company based in Teufen, Switzerland, specializing in the development and production of revolutionary solid-state batteries. Founded by Prof. Dr. Günther Hambitzer, Dr. Sebastian Heinz and Dr. Thomas Lützenrath, the technology is based on over 30 years of comprehensive basic research on battery aging.

HPB has developed the world's first series-ready solid-state battery, the heart of which is formed by a chemical reaction within the battery cell.

• Long-lasting technology: The solid-state batteries can remain efficient for more than 15,000 charging cycles under harsh conditions, enabling multiple uses of storage systems.
• Global expansion: HPB plans to build Gigafactories in various regions, starting in Switzerland, in order to establish a global presence and become independent of Asian dependency.

HPB offers various license models to spread its technology worldwide. There are already completed production license agreements with Swiss Clean Battery AG in Switzerland and Electric One Holding in India. Further talks with potential licensees in the USA, Canada, India and other countries are underway.

HPB is supported by over 300 private investors and is financed by the sale of shares, without capital rounds and dilution.
