editThe Haus für Poesie, founded in 1991 under the name Literaturwerkstatt Berlin and since 2016 under its current name, is a central literary organizer in Berlin located in the Kulturbrauerei. It promotes and supports all areas of literature, especially poetry, both as written word and in connection with other arts and media.

editThe main mission of the Haus für Poesie is to promote access to poetry and understanding of poetry among the population. Sustainability Goals and Initiatives
editThe Haus für Poesie is committed to the long-term promotion of poetry and literary culture. It has built a comprehensive audio archive that contains recordings from almost all events and is being gradually published. Through collaboration with partner institutions in over 50 countries, international networking and the exchange of poetry are promoted. Additionally, the Haus für Poesie offers a participatory program for poetic (further) education that includes writers and educators and supports the poetic education of children and young people[1][2][3].
