GeWoGe Wohnungsgenossenschaft eG

The GeWoGe Wohnungsgenossenschaft eG was founded in January 1910 and has since been an important part of housing supply in Landshut. With a portfolio of nearly 1,500 apartments in over 200 properties, the cooperative significantly contributes to providing the population with affordable housing.

The mission of GeWoGe is to create needs-based and affordable housing while also taking the environment into account. GeWoGe is actively committed to sustainable construction and modernization measures. An example of this is the use of climate-friendly heating concepts and high-quality, energy-saving building materials. For instance, new apartments have been built with a high energy standard, achieving a low U-value through the use of masonry bricks with mineral wool insulation, thereby reducing energy costs.

Recently, GeWoGe has realized a new housing project near the main train station in Landshut. This includes 49 modern apartments that are characterized by high quality of stay and energy efficiency. The new building seamlessly integrates into the existing neighborhood development and offers appealing architecture with an underground garage and outdoor facilities.

GeWoGe remains true to its founding idea and continues to advocate for the provision of affordable housing for broad segments of the population. With its future-oriented approach and focus on sustainability, the cooperative positions itself as a reliable partner for housing supply in Landshut.
