GermanZero is a non-profit organization based in Hamburg and Berlin that advocates for Germany's climate neutrality by 2035. It develops political measures, promotes renewable energies, and raises public awareness for climate protection. Together for a sustainable future!
GermanZero is a climate protection organization with the goal of making Germany climate-neutral by 2035. To achieve this, the NGO works in three areas of activity that together form the roadmap to a climate-neutral Germany: a 1.5-degree legislative package that includes all legal solutions at the federal level, political discussions that bring these solutions into the political discourse, and a movement that makes cities climate-neutral through climate decisions. GermanZero offers around 1000 volunteers participation formats to take effective action against the climate crisis. The principle of the organization is to be constructive and to always accompany its demands with solutions that demonstrate how Germany can act effectively in the climate crisis. GermanZero was founded in 2019 as a non-profit association and operates solely on donations.
Application Process
Applications are exclusively submitted through our application platform. Typically, there are two rounds of interviews. The duration of the interviews is between 60 and 90 minutes. The duration of the application process, i.e., from the job posting to the hiring, always varies.
