The Fördergemeinschaft Ökologischer Landbau Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. (FÖL) is a central umbrella organization and value creation network of the organic food industry in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. Founded by Michael Wimmer as a one-man project about 20 years ago, the FÖL has developed into an association and company-wide platform that advocates for a sustainable agricultural and nutritional transition.

• Networking: It connects actors along the entire value chain, from farmers and gardeners to processors and retailers, and finally to consumers.

• Consultation and Support: It provides consulting structures for young farmers and supports farmers in integrating conservation measures into their operations.

• Regional Value Creation: It works to market regional organic products well and consume them in the region to strengthen local value chains.
• Quality Control: In collaboration with the state of Brandenburg and other partners such as pro agro GmbH, the FÖL monitors compliance with the quality criteria of the "Bio Brandenburg. Guaranteed Quality" label, which ensures that products are produced and processed according to strict ecological and regional standards[2].
