Finanzamt Neuwied

The Finanzamt Neuwied is a local state authority of the Rhineland-Palatinate tax administration. It is responsible for the administration of taxes in the district of Neuwied, with the exception of customs duties and federally regulated excise taxes.

• Tax Administration: The tax office is responsible for the assessment and collection of taxes such as income tax, trade tax, property tax and more.
• Advice and Information: It offers comprehensive advice on tax issues and supports citizens in preparing tax returns.
• Large-Scale Audits: In addition to its local tasks, the tax office also carries out audits for large and medium-sized companies in other administrative districts.

The main mission of the tax office is to manage taxes efficiently and fairly. It values Auftragsorientierung (task orientation), Bürgerorientierung (citizen orientation), Wirtschaftlichkeit (efficiency) and Mitarbeiterorientierung (employee orientation). These values are reflected in the provision of flexible working conditions and diverse training.
