About Familienzentrum Känguruh e.V.

The Familienzentrum Känguruh e.V. in Neu-Isenburg is a parent initiative that has been creating a safe and secure place for children for over 25 years, where they can play, learn and grow. The association offers a diverse range of care for children of different ages, including a kindergarten group, crèche groups (U3) and a mini-kindergarten for children from 18 months until they enter regular kindergarten.

The guiding principle of Familienzentrum Känguruh e.V. is: "Where the little ones are the greatest". The focus is on the physical, mental and emotional well-being of each child. The facility accepts children of different nationalities, cultures and religions and focuses on their individual strengths, needs and wishes.

The pedagogical work is based on the situational approach, whereby the topics and interests of the children are individually taken up and implemented. An important principle is to enable children to become "Am DU zum ICH". The educators create a good basis of trust with the children and the parents and support the children in their own pace of development.

In addition to the situational approach and parental work, the focus of the pedagogical work is also on portfolio work and participation. The children have the opportunity to contribute their own ideas, wishes and needs and to help shape the group activities.

The Familienzentrum Känguruh e.V. attaches great importance to a good relationship between children, parents and educators. It offers parents the compatibility of family and career. Parents are actively involved in the association's life and can get involved in various activities such as summer festivals, parent afternoons, project groups, garden activities or lantern festivals.

The association is managed by a voluntary board and supported by a full-time management. The team consists of committed pedagogical specialists who contribute their knowledge, talents and personality.

The Familienzentrum Känguruh e.V. is a member of various organizations and works with partners to ensure a comprehensive range of services for children and families.
