
FairStage Berlin is a model project dedicated to establishing discrimination-free and positive working conditions for all employees in publicly funded theaters in Berlin. Its core mission is to transform the Berlin theater landscape by ensuring equitable and fair employment practices. The project, a joint initiative of Diversity Arts Culture, ensemble-netzwerk, and LAFT Berlin, is funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion. FairStage develops and implements comprehensive catalogs of measures over a three-year process to address power imbalances and promote better working conditions in the arts. Its significant work has been recognized by media outlets such as rbb Inforadio and Deutschlandfunk.
