The Evangelischer Kirchenkreis Hamm is a dynamic and future-oriented church community that extends over the cities and municipalities of Ahlen, Ascheberg-Herbern, Bönen, Drensteinfurt-Walstedde, Hamm, Sendenhorst, Werl-Hilbeck, and Werne. Our church district includes 12 congregations and about 70,000 Protestant church members[3].

• Youth and Confirmation Work: Our youth church and confirmation programs are central offerings for the younger generation to strengthen faith and community[4].
• Social Services: Through the Evangelischen Pflegedienste im Kirchenkreis Hamm gGmbH, we operate outpatient care services in various regions to provide care support[5].
• Cross-Congregational Initiatives: We promote cooperation and profiling between the congregations to create a vibrant and connected church community[4].

This includes working groups on topics such as worship, occasional services, building development, cooperation and profiling, as well as personnel justice and pastoral care[4].
• Building Development: We are working on a sustainable building concept that takes into account needs and available resources and aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions[4].
• Regional Adaptation: Our initiatives are designed to address the changing lifestyles and leisure activities of people and to adapt our services to local needs.
