The Ev. Wohnstift Dichterviertel, located in the heart of Mülheim an der Ruhr, is an inviting and comfortable residence for seniors. Here, residential comfort, professional care and a diverse cultural offering are combined under one roof.

The Ev. Wohnstift Dichterviertel offers 101 residents a new home, including 96 handicapped-accessible single rooms and five two-room apartments for married couples. The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished and can be individually designed to create a personal atmosphere.

The individuality of the residents is just as important as their need for community and social exchange. Bright and spacious common rooms form the heart of the residential groups and invite you to linger. A café with a terrace and a spacious green area offer additional opportunities for relaxation and encounters.

As a "House of Culture", the residential complex offers a varied program with concerts, readings and other cultural events. Regular excursions to cultural highlights in the region complement the offer and provide intellectual stimulation and social contacts.

The Ev. Wohnstift Dichterviertel provides care for residents of all care levels, including short-term and respite care. A special focus is on the care of people with dementia. The holistic care approach is based on the psychobiographical model according to Professor Erwin Böhm, in order to preserve a "feeling of home" and their "self-identity" especially for people with dementia. All employees are specially trained in gerontopsychiatry to ensure empathetic and competent care.

As part of the Ategris Group, the Ev. Wohnstift Dichterviertel offers the highest level of care competence and comprehensive support in health matters. The close cooperation with other Ategris institutions, resident doctors and external partners ensures comprehensive medical care. Experts from the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and podiatry come directly to the house on request.
