Ethno-Medizinisches Zentrum Berlin initiates the MiMi – Gewaltprävention project, focusing on violence prevention for migrants, by migrants. Its core mission is to ensure all women and girls in Germany, especially refugees and migrant women, have equal access to protection and resources to live self-determined and violence-free lives. This is achieved through transcultural MiMi-Mediator*innen who educate their compatriots in their native languages across eleven federal states, providing a wide range of multilingual resources. The project has received recognition from government officials.
