editelbarlament, which means "Parliament" in Arabic, is an organization that specializes in peace education and the promotion of democracy, with a particular focus on empowering women and youth. Founded in 2013, elbarlament began with a parliamentary support program in Egypt, which laid the foundation for the current organization.

Organization and Governance
editelbarlament operates under two separate legal identities: a GmbH and a non-profit association (e.V.). The general assembly of the members of the association is the highest body of the organization. The international and multilingual team is based in Berlin, Cologne, and Erbil (Iraq) and works closely with international partners, including parliamentarians, government officials, journalists, actors, writers, and filmmakers.
