Sustainability Goals and Initiatives
editThe Egestorff Stiftung has been actively committed to environmental protection. As part of the HEIM:VORTEIL initiative, the consumption of water, electricity and heat was significantly reduced, which led to an award as "Klimaschutzbetrieb 2008". CO2 emissions were reduced by over 50%. These measures not only benefit the environment, but also the residents through lower heating costs.
