EEW Energy from Waste is a leading company in the field of thermal waste recovery and disposal. With 17 locations in Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, EEW makes an important contribution to climate and resource protection. The company energetically processes around 5 million tons of waste annually and disposes of it sustainably.

EEW efficiently converts the energy contained in the waste and generates process steam for industrial plants, district heating for residential areas and environmentally friendly electricity for around 700,000 households. The residues from waste incineration, especially slag, are also recycled, for example in road construction.

Another business area is sewage sludge recycling. EEW offers municipalities forward-looking solutions for sewage sludge recycling that reliably meets legal requirements and secures the phosphorus resource.
