editSince its founding by the founding director Michael Wimmer, EDUCULT has been a dynamic and flexible institute that has adapted to societal developments while also shaping them. The institute has developed into a recognized expert center in the field of qualitative methods of accompanying research in cultural education and art and cultural mediation nationally and internationally[4].
The institute operates as a non-profit and relies on the acquisition of project funds to implement its diverse projects, which last between two months and two years. This requires the simultaneous implementation of about ten projects to cover the annual budget[4].
With its interdisciplinary team and its international network of experts, EDUCULT makes a significant contribution to the promotion of culture and education and to achieving sustainable societal developments.
