The Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Kreisverband Düsseldorf e.V. is one of the largest humanitarian organizations in the region, committed to supporting people in all walks of life. The Kreisverband offers a wide range of services, including:

• Pflege und Betreuung: Six Seniorenzentren, outpatient care service and short-term care.
• Bildung und Jugend: Two Berufsfachschulen, 15 Kindertagesstätten and numerous offers for children and young people.
• Rettung und Katastrophenschutz: Rettungsdienst, Katastrophenschutz and Wasserrettung.
• Flüchtlingshilfe: Flüchtlingsunterkünfte, Migrationsberatung and Integrationsagentur.
• Familienbildung: Courses for Familienbildung and open Seniorenarbeit.

The Kreisverband strives to help people in need while strengthening society through education and integration. The values of the DRK include humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntariness, unity and universality.

The DRK-Düsseldorf is committed to sustainable social development by promoting voluntary engagement and supporting the compatibility of family and work. In addition, the Kreisverband attaches importance to the promotion of its employees through further training and attractive working conditions.

The Kreisverband offers more than 1,400 full-time employees and over 1,200 voluntary helpers a familiar working environment with interesting and challenging tasks. In addition to performance-related remuneration, the DRK also offers internal and external training as well as company health management.
