editThe Dortmund Vocational College for Sport and Gymnastics (GymDo) is a traditional educational institution that has been dedicated to training in the field of health, fitness and education since 1960. GymDo offers a three-year training course to become a state-certified gymnastics teacher, which is combined with the acquisition of the university entrance qualification.
GymDo understands movement as the basis for a healthy body and an alert mind. The goal is to provide students with a holistic education that optimally prepares them for a successful career in the health and fitness industry.
In addition to the training, GymDo also offers job-related further education and training in the areas of health and fitness, which are aimed at external participants and alumni.
The GymDo team is characterized by passion, expertise and enjoyment of working together. Continuous training ensures that employees are always up to date with the latest findings.
GymDo works closely with the TSC Eintracht Dortmund and is located in the centrally located sports center of the club. This cooperation enables students to use the professionally equipped sports halls and fields and to gain initial professional experience.
GymDo regularly offers information events and trial days to give interested parties the opportunity to get to know the school and the training.
