DialoguePerspectives e.V.

DialoguePerspectives e.V. is a politically and ideologically independent European platform based in Berlin. Our work focuses on shaping an open, plural, resilient, and future-oriented European society.

Our main mission is to contribute to addressing the diverse challenges of our time through dialogue and the joint development of solutions. We advocate for the strengthening of the plural democratic European society and defend European civil society. Our values include solidarity, pluralism, democracy, and the promotion of interreligious and ideological dialogues.

• Dialogue Perspectives: Religions and Worldviews in Conversation - This program trains young European leaders in science, culture, politics, and business to become experts in socially oriented interreligious-ideological dialogue. It promotes constructive dialogues based on societal needs and applies practical, results-oriented methods[2][3].
• Coalition for Pluralistic Public Discourse (CPPD) - A productive network of academic, artistic, activist, and journalistic interventions that addresses key issues of the plural European society[1].
• European Practitioners Network against Antisemitism (EPNA) - Connects European practitioners in their work against antisemitism and other forms of group-related discrimination and promotes the transfer of practical anti-discrimination work into academia[1].
• Dagesh – Jewish Art in Context - Engages in art education to convey the plurality of Jewish life in Germany and Europe and provides an open space for Jewish artists to network and exchange[1].
• Alexander Haus - Is being developed as a center for encounter and dialogue for civil society actors from across Europe[1].
• Facilitating Dialogue - Offers organizations from all sectors of society workshops and seminars on plural dialogue processes and provides consulting for development processes[1].

DialoguePerspectives e.V. focuses on several central conflicts and challenges affecting European society:

• Social Polarization - Dialog-based counteraction to polarization developments towards a new social cohesion[2][3].
• Lack of Plurality Competence - Comprehensive imparting of plurality competence in Europe through educational programs, campaigns, and policy papers[2][3].
• Nationalism vs. European Unity - Targeted combat against nationalist, populist, and extremist movements in Europe[2][3].
• Migration and Flight - Contributing to transforming the European approach to migration and flight movements into an inclusive and productive form[2][3].
• Digital Democracy and Combating Hate Speech and Disinformation - Researching and testing innovative participation opportunities in the democratic process as well as working against hate speech and disinformation, especially on social media[2][3].
• Global Climate Crisis - Debates on environmental policy, climate change, and sustainability, as well as their impacts on European society from a pluralistic perspective[2][3].

Our work is characterized by the conviction that dialogue is the key to new goals and a hopeful future. By creating resilient, robust, and future-oriented networks and promoting solidarity and pluralism, we are working to shape a better future for Europe.
