Deutscher Frauenrat

The Deutscher Frauenrat, umbrella organization of around 60 women’s organizations active nationwide, is the largest women's and gender equality advocacy group in Germany. It represents women from social and political sectors, from professional and women's rights associations, from political parties and trade unions, from churches, sports, culture, media, and business. The Deutscher Frauenrat is committed to the rights of women in Germany and around the world, at the level of the European Union and in the United Nations. The goal of the Deutscher Frauenrat is the legal and factual equality of the genders in all areas of life, the promotion of a gender-democratic change, and a just, livable world for all.
