Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung
The Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW) is an internationally active development organization aimed at promoting the potential of the largest youth generation of all time to contribute to sustainable population development.
It enables young people in East Africa to access youth-friendly health information and modern contraceptives, and also advocates at the political level for the right to bodily autonomy, especially for young women and girls.
Furthermore, we work for gender-sensitive promotion of research and innovation to combat poverty-associated diseases.
In addition to our headquarters in Hannover, the DSW is represented in Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, our partner organization in Uganda, as well as with liaison offices in Berlin and Brussels.
