CommunityKlima e.V. is a young, non-profit organization that passionately advocates for sustainability education in schools across Germany. Our goal is to support schools on their path to a more sustainable and resource-saving future and to further educate students thematically so that they can sustainably improve their behavior both at school and at home.

• Best-Practice Guide: We offer a comprehensive guide that details successful school projects on sustainability and climate protection. This allows other schools to easily understand and implement these projects.
• Annual Conferences: Every year, we host the climate conference SCHUL.FORUM.KLIMA, where students from all over Germany come together to exchange ideas with experts, listen to lectures, and collaboratively develop and implement projects.
• Networking and Exchange: Our platform enables member schools to network and exchange project ideas as well as best-practice examples. This promotes mutual exchange and collaboration between schools.
• Other Formats: We offer discussion rounds, guest lectures, podcasts, workshops, and seminars to promote comprehensive knowledge transfer and sustainable behavioral change.

CommunityKlima e.V. is closely linked to the global sustainability goals (SDGs) and particularly focuses on the following thematic priorities:

• Energy and Climate: We focus on projects that reduce energy consumption and promote climate protection.
• Sustainable Cities and Communities: We support initiatives aimed at making urban and community structures more sustainable.
• Sustainable Consumption and Production: We promote projects that advance responsible consumption and sustainable production.
• Ec ecosystems and Biodiversity: The protection and preservation of ecosystems and biodiversity are central aspects of our work.

Our public relations team works with creativity and passion to communicate our activities through various channels such as social media, newsletters, flyers, and our website. This helps us reach a broad audience and promote a fact-based public discourse on sustainability and climate protection.

CommunityKlima e.V. is led by a motivated team of young people who have been engaged in sustainability in schools for years. Our board consists of three dedicated young individuals who drive the vision and implementation of our projects. Our members work in various departments, such as fundraising, event planning, and public relations, to continuously expand the network.

Through our work, we make a concrete contribution to education for sustainable development (BNE) and climate change mitigation, and we invite all schools and interested parties to become part of our community and collaboratively shape a more sustainable future.
