editCITY DECKS® is an innovative company that specializes in transforming urban spaces to create livable and sustainable environments. Founded by architects Robin Woll and Wulf Kramer, CITY DECKS® emerged from the planning and innovation office Yalla Yalla! – studio for change in Mannheim. The company offers modular parklet systems that transform public parking spaces into inviting areas for staying, and was awarded the Creative Competition IDEENSTARK in 2019.

editCITY DECKS® develops and sells modular systems that enable the quick and efficient transformation of urban spaces into green oases. The products are designed to be installed with minimal organizational effort and offer low-maintenance greening. The new product series "AUFGETANKT" represents environmentally friendly solutions that enrich urban space. These systems are in use in over 100 cities with more than 1,500 modules.

Sustainability Goals and Initiatives
editSustainability is a core value of CITY DECKS®. The company places great importance on regional production and short supply chains to work resource-efficiently. The main components of the products, especially the wood, come from regional forestry, preferably from the Odenwald. Final assembly takes place in Mannheim, ensuring high quality and sustainability of the products. CITY DECKS® is also involved in projects like the Superblock in Stuttgart-West to test and promote innovative urban development concepts.

editCITY DECKS® is an official partner of the polis CONVENTION 2024 and actively participates in initiatives to promote sustainable urban development. With the project "Platzgemacht! Eine Oase für deinen Kiez," the company supports citizen initiatives and local communities to create consumption-free and green gathering places. These initiatives aim to promote the debate on car-free cities and highlight the potential of free parking spaces for urban development.
