CellAg Deutschland is the leading platform for cellular agriculture in German-speaking Europe. As an independent and non-profit organization, we are dedicated to educating and connecting consumers, science, politics, business, and NGOs. Our goal is to harness the full potential of cellular agriculture to benefit people, the environment, and animals alike.

Cellular agriculture enables the production of animal products directly from cells, without the need to raise or slaughter animals. This includes cultivated meat and animal-free dairy products like cheese, produced through innovative cell cultivation techniques. Our platform provides comprehensive information and regular online lectures that highlight the economic and ecological opportunities as well as challenges of this technology.

Our mission is to serve as a central point of contact for cellular agriculture in the German-speaking region. We connect stakeholders and interest groups, provide independent information, and promote the ecosystem of cellular agriculture through specific offerings. We place great importance on transparency, education, and the promotion of sustainable and animal-friendly agriculture.

CellAg Deutschland actively advocates for resource conservation and efficiency improvement in food production. By avoiding antibiotics in production, we contribute to mitigating the risk of antibiotic resistance. Additionally, we reduce the risk of diseases caused by conventional animal products and minimize heavy metal or microplastic contamination. Our work aims to prevent future pandemics caused by zoonoses and improve the nutritional profile of cultivated products by replacing saturated fats with omega-3 oils.

Our dedicated team consists of professionals from diverse backgrounds who volunteer and work to promote cellular agriculture. We are working to increase acceptance and understanding of cultivated products and improve the political framework for their development. Our members look forward to a future with a variety of cultivated products, from white sausages to animal-free cheese.

CellAg Deutschland is committed to promoting the acceptance and dissemination of cellular agriculture through informed research and strategic communication.
