(BBK) is a non-profit association, founded in 2008, with the aim of promoting climate protection measures nationwide through citizen participation and direct democracy. Under the motto "Make the Climate Transition Yourself," BBK focuses on the engagement of local people to realize climate-friendly municipal policies.

Main Mission and Values

The association is committed to achieving the limitation of global warming to 1.5 degrees and adhering to the Paris Climate Agreement. BBK works across party and organizational lines, free of charge and without bureaucracy, to promote a solidarity-based and democratic community and support diverse participation opportunities in political decision-making processes.
