BENN Weißensee, part of the program "Berlin Develops New Neighborhoods," is an initiative of the Berlin Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing, implemented in collaboration with the district offices. The program aims to strengthen social cohesion in neighborhoods with accommodations for refugees and to promote the participation of residents. In Weißensee, the BENN area includes eight planning spaces with six accommodations for people with refugee experience.
