Profits generated from the sale of the produced electricity are distributed among the members. The cooperative works closely with partners such as GLS Bank to develop sustainable financing models and expand expertise in tenant electricity.
Current Developments
editIn Norderstedt, another tenant electricity project with a 54 kWp system will be realized in 2024, which will supply 44 residential units with solar power. This initiative is cooperatively financed with broad citizen participation. BEN is also present at events such as the Climate Day in Neumünster to present its projects and participation opportunities and to raise awareness for the energy transition.
