The Barbos-Stiftung is a non-profit and charitable civil law foundation, established in October 2007 by Barbara Osterwald. It is dedicated to the creative development and psycho-social reintegration of children and adolescents, particularly those who are psychologically disturbed, resistant, or emotionally disoriented. Through art-therapeutic individual sessions, with a special emphasis on "Arbeit am Tonfeld®," the foundation helps young people manage conflicts and integrate into their social environment. A significant initiative is "Barbos bunt – Flüchtlingshilfe," which supports traumatized refugee children and adolescents. Based in Munich, the foundation has received multiple awards for its commitment, including the "Deutscher Engagementpreis 2013."
