AZV Südholstein

The AZV Abwasser-Zweckverband Südholstein is a public company that has been committed to safe wastewater disposal and the protection of water bodies in the region for over 50 years. With around 260 employees, the AZV manages an association area that includes the district of Pinneberg, parts of the districts of Segeberg and Steinburg, as well as northwestern districts of Hamburg. The association consists of over 45 members, including municipalities, cities, and other purpose associations.

• Wastewater Disposal: The AZV Südholstein is responsible for the treatment and disposal of wastewater and rainwater. It operates the Hetlingen treatment plant and is responsible for the regional collection network as well as many local networks of the member municipalities.
