The Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) is a global feminist organization that has been advocating for women's rights and gender justice worldwide for 40 years. AWID has offices in Toronto, Mexico City, and Cape Town, with staff working globally. The global membership includes over 7,000 members from 180 countries, comprising both individuals and institutional members[1].
