A notable example is the HyBit project, where H2APEX, together with partners such as swb AG, EWE AG, and ArcelorMittal, is working on the decarbonization of steel production. Furthermore, H2APEX has launched one of the largest hydrogen bus fleets in Europe, making public transport emission-free. Hydrogen production is carried out through a 2 MW electrolysis plant in Rostock-Laage, which will provide around 2,200 tons of green hydrogen by 2031.
