History

Founded on November 4, 1930 by the Katharinenschwestern, the hospital became part of the Alexianer Group from January 2025. A comprehensive renovation between 1990 and 2000 led to a modernization of the medical equipment.

Since 1990, the hospital has had a ward building in the garden area, which has expanded its capacity. Despite threats of closure in 1998, the hospital was able to continue operating thanks to the efforts of the operators.

Excellent Care: Dr. Christian Stofft, Head Physician of the Department of Geriatrics, was once again presented as one of "Germany's Distinguished Doctors," which underscores the high quality of medical care.
