Working student (m/f/d) Hydrogen Techno-Economic Modelling

In our dynamic, diverse, and highly motivated team, we work on the next step of the energy transition and do our part to make the hydrogen economy a reality. In our international markets we develop hydrogen projects from pilots to multi-gigawatt export scale. Therefore, we are creating business models and structures for our markets and coordinate with the local teams for the development of new hydrogen projects. We need you and your good ideas, open spirit, and dedication for this exciting new business opportunity.

Your passion

• You contribute to the development of our 20-GW global hydrogen project pipeline
• You utilize our modelling landscape to design, optimize and compare our hydrogen project concepts
• You develop new tools and analysis contributing to the development of our projects
• You identify and highlight shortcomings and optimization potential in our projects
• You work closely with our project development teams in Wiesbaden and internationally

Your qualification

• You are currently studying mathematics, physics, engineering, data science & analytics or similar – preferably for a master’s degree
• You have experience working with mathematic optimization and/or simulation models
• You understand basic economic principles and ideally have first experience with techno-economic modelling
• Ideally, you have programming experience, e.g. Python or VBA
• You have a passion to work quantitatively and have a good feeling for numbers
• You like to present your results in a clear and precise form and like to work in a team
• You are interested in green energy and hydrogen and have ideally first experience in the field
