Your mission

You support the creation and publication of social media posts, website blog posts and press inquiries including the creation of visual material as well as monitoring and reporting.
You organize visits from external parties, press and other events in close coordination with the communications manager.
You create briefings to prepare for external events, trade fair appearances and association work.
You support in researching regulatory frameworks that influence cylib's business model and developing corresponding position papers.
You enjoy working together with other departments and forming an interface.

Your profile

You are enrolled in a masters program in communication sciences, business administration or a similar field.
You enjoy creating written and spoken communication materials and have some experience in this area.
You will impress with your structured, conceptual and solution-oriented thinking and actions as well as your professional creativity. You also have excellent communication skills.
You work in a team-oriented manner and have high quality standards for your own performance.
Business fluent written and spoken German and English complete your profile.
You have 16-20 hours per week and would like to work in our office in Aachen.

About us

cylib is a research-based German startup for holistic battery recycling - starting from discharging to recovery of all components of the lithium battery - that was founded in Aachen in 2022 by three visionary founders, including a female CEO.

Our process

The cylib process offers a complete end-to-end process from battery pack to green battery material by employing a combination of mechanical and thermal pre-treatments and an innovative water-based lithium and graphite recovery. Unlike incumbents, cylib can therefore recover battery materials such as lithium, graphite or manganese. The process was developed over several years of research at the renown RWTH Aachen University and offers an efficient, resource- and climate friendly recovery of all battery materials from end-of-life batteries.

cylib's technology enables the recovery of all battery components regardless of whether it is an end-of-life battery or not. Recovery of green secondary raw materials from the cylib process enables the realization of the true Circular Economy on the European market.

Deine Aufgaben

Du unterstützt bei der Erstellung und Veröffentlichung von Social Media Beiträgen, Website Blog Posts und Presseanfragen, inkl. Erstellung von Bild und Videomaterial sowie Monitoring und Reporting.
Du organisierst in enger Abstimmung mit den Kommunikationsverantwortlichen Besuche von Externen, Presse- sowie weitere Events.
Du erstellst Briefings in Vorbereitung auf externe Veranstaltungen, Messeauftritte und Verbandsarbeit.
Du erarbeitest Positionen zu regulatorischen Rahmenbedingungen, die cylib's Geschäftsmodell beeinflussen.
Du hast Freude dabei, mit anderen Abteilungen gemeinsam zu arbeiten und eine Schnittstelle zu bilden.

Dein Profil

Du bist eingeschriebene:r Masterstudent:in im Bereich Kommunikationswissenschaften, Betriebswirtschaftslehre oder einem ähnlichen Bereich.
Du hast Freude an der Erstellung von Kommunikationsmaterialien in Wort und Schrift und bringst erste Erfahrung aus diesem Bereich mit.
Du überzeugst durch dein strukturiertes, konzeptionelles und lösungsorientiertes Denken und Handeln sowie deine fachliche Kreativität. Darüber hinaus bringst du eine hohe kommunikative Kompetenz mit.
Du arbeitest teamorientiert und hast hohe Qualitätsansprüche an deine eigene Leistung.
Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Schrift und Sprache runden dein Profil ab.
Du hast 16-20 Stunden pro Woche Zeit und Lust in unserem Aachener Büro zu arbeiten.

Unser Prozess

Der cylib-Prozess bietet einen kompletten End-to-End-Prozess vom Batteriepack bis zum grünen Batteriematerial, indem es eine Kombination aus mechanischer und thermischer Vorbehandlung sowie eine innovative Lithium- und Graphitrückgewinnung auf Wasserbasis einsetzt. Im Gegensatz zu den etablierten Unternehmen kann cylib daher Batteriematerialien wie Lithium, Graphit oder Mangan zurückgewinnen. Das Verfahren wurde in mehrjähriger Forschungsarbeit an der RWTH Aachen entwickelt und bietet eine effiziente, ressourcen- und klimafreundliche Rückgewinnung aller Batteriematerialien aus Altbatterien.

Die Technologie von cylib ermöglicht die Rückgewinnung aller Batteriekomponenten, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um eine End-of-Life-Batterie oder Produktionsausschuss handelt. Die Rückgewinnung grüner Sekundärrohstoffe aus dem cylib-Prozess ermöglicht die Verwirklichung einer echten Kreislaufwirtschaft auf dem europäischen Markt.
