Mit unserer innovativen Technologie stellen wir aus pflanzlichen Reststoffen der Agrarindustrie ein innovatives und umweltfreundliches Biomaterial her - biobasiert, plastikfrei und kompostierbar. Ein Material, das keine schädlichen Spuren hinterlässt. Damit möchten wir möglichst viel Kunststoff ersetzen, der nicht recycled wird oder potentiell in der Umwelt landet, und traceless als führende Marke für Biomaterialien etablieren - und hier kommst Du ins Spiel.

Als Techniker:in für Qualitätskontrolle sorgst du dafür, dass unser Qualitätssicherungssystem im Labor effizient läuft. Du führst Probenahmen und Tests durch, kümmerst dich um den Laborhaushalt, die Probenrückhaltung und Stabilitätstests sowie die Berichterstattung und andere wichtige Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen.Mit deiner Unterstützung hilfst du uns, traceless zum Marktführer für kompostierbare Biomaterialien zu etablieren.

Deine Aufgaben:

Qualitätskontrollprüfungen für eingehende Materialien durchführen, um sicherzustellen, dass sie den Spezifikationen entsprechen, und das System für die Freigabe von Rohmaterialien aktualisieren.
Prüfungen für prozessbegleitende Materialien in verschiedenen Produktionsphasen planen und durchführen.
Qualitätskontrollen und Assays für Fertigprodukte durchführen sowie Produktchargen freigeben.
Datenanalysen der produzierten Chargen und Produktfreigaben für alle PRE- und POST-Formulierungen durchführen und relevante Gruppen bei Bedarf informieren.
Wissenschaftler:innen und Ingenieur:innen bei Experimenten und Qualitätsprojekten unterstützen.
Proben lagern und das Inventar pflegen.
Daten und Proben zu laufenden Projekten sammeln und verwalten.
Regelmäßige Qualitätssicherungsinspektionen in Produktion und Labor durchführen (z. B. Kalibrierungsprotokolle, Wartungsprotokolle).
Die Arbeitsumgebung im Labor instand halten.
Ergebnisse und Beobachtungen in Qualitätsberichten und Analysenzertifikaten für die Freigabe von Chargen präsentieren.
QC-Unterstützung bei Prozessverbesserungen, Forschung & Entwicklung sowie Betrieb in Bezug auf Qualitätsprozesse und Überwachungsprüfungen leisten.
Proben vorbereiten und Tests zur Geschmacksanalyse (Geschmack und Geruch) durchführen sowie die Datenbank entsprechend aktualisieren.

Dein Profil

Du hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Chemie- oder Labortechniker:in und mindestens ein Jahr Laborerfahrung ODER
Ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in einer naturwissenschaftlichen Disziplin mit mindestens zwei Jahren Laborerfahrung.
Du bist vertraut mit Produktanalysen und internen Routine-Qualitätskontrollen und kannst Messergebnisse (z. B. NIR, mechanische Prüfungen, MFI, Zusammensetzungsanalysen) auswerten und interpretieren.
Du arbeitest genau, organisiert und methodisch.
Du kannst Prioritäten setzen und hältst Fristen ein.
Du baust harmonische und effektive Arbeitsbeziehungen auf.
Du packst gerne praktisch mit an und scheust dich nicht davor, dir die Hände schmutzig zu machen.
Du denkst innovativ und lösungsorientiert, bist ein Teamplayer und hast Sinn für Humor.
Du beherrschst Deutsch und Englisch sehr gut in Wort und Schrift

Your mission

We are tackling global plastic pollution - and you will be a part of the solution!

With our innovative technology, we turn plant leftovers of the agricultural industry into a novel sustainable biomaterial - biobased, plastic-free, and compostable. A material that leaves no harmful traces. With this, we want to replace as many plastics as possible, and this is where you come in.

As our Quality Control Technician (f/m/x), you will be responsible for scientific support by maintaining an efficient and exceptional quality assurance system in the laboratory as well as by performing in-process sampling and testing, laboratory housekeeping, sampling retention and stability test, reporting, among other valuable techniques.

Your support helps us to develop traceless into the market leader in the field of compostable biomaterials.

Conduct quality control testing for incoming materials, ensuring the product meets specifications, and updating the system for Raw Material product release.
Plan and execute testing for all in-process material at different intervals of production.
Plan and conduct all laboratory quality control activities/assays for finished products and product batch release.
Perform data analysis of the batches produced, product release for all PRE and POST formulations and provide with updates to all relevant groups when necessary.
Assisting scientists and engineers in ongoing experiments and tasks when needed for quality projects.
Sample storage and inventory maintenance.
Collect and maintain data and samples related to ongoing projects.
Conduct regular quality assurance inspections at production level, and laboratory level such as calibration records, Preventive Maintenance records, etc.
Maintenance of laboratory work environment.
Present results and observations to team members via quality reports, and certificates of analysis for batch release.
QC support in process improvements, R&D and Operations with respect to quality processes and monitoring checks.
Prepare samples and performance of test for Flavor analysis (Taste and odor), updating data base accordingly

Your profile

You have completed a vocational training as a chemical/laboratory technician, with at least 1 year of laboratory experience OR
You have a university degree in a scientific discipline with at least 2 years of laboratory experience
Proficiency in the execution of product analysis using internal routine quality checks incl. analysis/interpretation of the measurement results such as NIR, mechanical tests, MFI, compositional analysis, and other laboratory assays.
Attention to detail, organized and methodical skills.
You can manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
You can establish harmonious and effective working relationships
You are also practically minded and do not shy away from getting your hands dirty
You think innovatively & solution-oriented, are a team player and have a sense of humor
You are highly proficient in both spoken and written German

traceless is a young company - with a big vision: a future free of pollution and waste! Our award-winning company was founded in Hamburg in 2020 by our female founding duo Anne and Johanna. By now we are a diverse team from different disciplines, ages and twelve nationalities, united by our common mission: to contribute to solving plastic pollution and build the regenerative industry of the future.
