Lingoda is a fast-growing online language school enabling even the busiest people worldwide to learn a language. We are looking for a Website Manager (all genders) based in Berlin or working remotely.
Tasks
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of our WordPress CMS, ensuring it is secure, updated, and optimised for performance
- Work with the content team to streamline and manage content publishing and updates across the site
- Collaborate with our external development team to implement new features and customizations, enhancing site functionality and user experience
- Test code and new functionalities across multiple browsers to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness, delivering a consistent user experience
- Assist in optimising the website for search engines and improving load times, mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience working with WordPress (or equivalent tools), including custom themes and its environment
- Understanding of website localisation for global audiences
- Good knowledge of A/B testing principles and implementation
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Familiarity with technical SEO and performance optimization techniques
- Experience working with project management tools such as Jira and Asana
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a dynamic work environment
- A team player with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
