Testing Engineer (f/m/d) Power Electronics at Sono Motors

Join our visionary team as a Testing Engineer (f/m/d) Power Electronics, focusing on the integration of solar technology into vehicles.

Testing and validation of Power Electronic Units and electrical interfaces with customers’ vehicles
Collaborating with internal engineers and external testing laboratory partners to define test cases and plans
Testing and validation of components in-house on test benches and vehicles
Correlating with Quality Engineers to manage defect documentation and resolve issues
Setting up test systems and preparing for test automation
Working closely with the development team to improve product quality and test specifications
Manual soldering rework, configuration, and maintenance of devices

Bachelors or Masters degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline
More than 2 years of professional experience in testing and validation of Power Electronics within the automotive, bus or truck industry
Broad knowledge of standard testing and validation procedures from automotive industry
Solid knowledge of functionality of Solar Systems
Automotive High Voltage handling certifications a strong plus
Experience in setting up and programming test automation systems
Good working knowledge of electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, power supply, etc.)
Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working on test benches or vehicles
Certified tester level is a plus
