Intro
Carbmee is seeking a Supplier Engagement Intern to join their Supplier Engagement Team in Berlin, Munich, or remotely in Germany. The role involves assisting in the creation and maintenance of supplier resources, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance supplier relationships. The intern will work on data analysis, feedback collection, and supporting supplier engagement processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to carbon emission reduction efforts and gain hands-on experience in supplier management and process optimization within a fast-growing tech company focused on climate change.
Tasks
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of supplier resources, including guides, manuals, documentation, and training materials.
- Support the team in identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline supplier engagement and internal workflows.
- Use Excel proficiency to support processes and data integration.
- Collect and analyze feedback from suppliers to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall supplier experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding supplier processes and expectations.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a German university or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and analytical mindset.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual with an interest in supplier management and process optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent business English, other languages a strong plus.
- Ability to work well in diverse, hybrid teams.
