Intro
At Reethaus we are looking for highly organized and detail-oriented Servers to work alongside our Event Operations Manager to execute events and programming on either a part-time basis or an occasional basis.
Tasks
- Ensure that program spaces and surrounding areas are set up correctly.
- Keep the venue and work areas clean and tidy.
- Ensure that the venue is correctly and adequately stocked with beverages, food, equipment, cutlery, tableware and glassware at all times.
- Greeting and guiding guests.
- Present and explain food and beverages to guests
- Attend to requests and complaints from guests, and address them in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensure furnishings and equipment are maintained, providing a safe, clean and pleasant environment.
- Close the venue after service to the established standard.
- Attend communication meetings and nominated training sessions.
- Perform all reasonable tasks designated by the Event Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Server in a highly valued hospitality environment.
- Attentive and service-minded.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Active listening and effective communication skills in German and English.
- Team spirit.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
