Your mission

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Polyteia, you will be building Europe’s first no-code/low-code SaaS platform for public administrations. You will be responsible for designing a complex software solution that digitizes data-intensive processes end-to-end while ensuring an intuitive user interface.

Your Role:

• Take ownership of a key part of product development to create exceptional user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with the product team and partners across the company in the product discovery process.
• Establish a shared vision for core design concepts, product design strategies, and brand positioning.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. Conduct usability testing and integrate feedback and insights into design iterations.
• Work with developers to refine designs during the development process, ensuring precise implementation and maintaining a cohesive design system.
• Ensure designs are adaptable across various devices and screen sizes, with a focus on accessibility principles to promote inclusivity for all users.

Your profile

• Fluent in Figma**:** Ability to create high-quality wireframes for handoff to development and realistic prototypes.
• Experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, especially for large low-code/no-code platforms.
• User-centered design approach.
• Skilled in conducting user research, interviews, usability tests, A/B tests, and other research methods.
• Proven experience working with front-end developers.
• Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently and results-oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset, with a passion for tackling complex issues.
• Communication and collaboration skills to ensure effective teamwork with stakeholders and to build trust with users during interviews.
• Deep understanding of accessibility principles with proven experience implementing WCAG standards in designs.
• Ability to articulate design decisions through clear, empathetic communication.

Nice to have:

• Fluent in German.
• Coding skills are an advantage (we use Tailwind).
