    Position Overview

    RGI is seeking a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager to lead and strengthen GINGR's partnerships globally. The ideal candidate will work closely with RGI colleagues, identify and collaborate with stakeholders, manage relationships with key external partners, and drive GINGR's objectives on the international stage. Based in Berlin, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of energy transition, biodiversity, and social justice.

    Key Responsibilities

    The Strategic Partnership Manager will contribute to GINGR's work by covering the following tasks, among others:

    • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, establish and nurture global partnership to contribute towards GINGR's objectives and activities.
    • Global Advocacy: Support the development and dissemination of GINGR's activities and outputs on the global stage.
    • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with RGI colleagues and existing GINGR partners in both RGI and IUCN to ensure seamless coordination and impact.
    • Communication and Outreach: Contribute to the development and implementation of GINGR's communication strategy and achieve advocacy objectives.
    • Fundraising Support: Assist in securing funding through collaboration with donors and partners.

    Qualifications & Skills

    RGI seeks an individual that has experience in working with international organisations and platforms. The ideal candidate should be able to actively develop and implement ideas and should possess the following professional qualifications, experience, and personal attributes:

    • A Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., in energy economics, ecology, political science, or social science) with at least 5 years' documented experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years' experience in a related domain.
    • Deep understanding of the intersection between environmental, social and renewable energy issues.
    • Proven experience in building and managing sectoral stakeholder platforms and excellent networking skills.
    • Track record of working in international and interdisciplinary environments.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency in other European languages is a plus).
    • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively, efficiently managing competing priorities and deadlines.
    • Quick ability to new challenges and an eagerness to learn.
    • Experience in engaging with globally and culturally diverse stakeholders and partners.
