What you will do

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic financial planning: Build business cases, conduct scenario analyses, and plan cash flows to support long-term strategic growth
• Monthly financial reporting: Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly investor reports, including key performance metrics and clear explanatory narratives
• Commercial steering: Analyze sales performance and campaign results, deriving actionable insights to support the marketing team in optimizing strategies
• Sales forecasting: Develop monthly sales forecasts to guide operational planning and track performance deviations proactively
• OPEX controlling and budgets: Monitor operational expenditures to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Accounting support: Collaborate with the accounting team on month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• ESG initiatives: Calculate the company’s carbon footprint, evaluate carbon offsetting projects, and oversee social responsibility activities
• Business Intelligence (BI-tool maintenance): Maintain and improve Tableau dashboards while supporting basic data reporting tasks in collaboration with the data analytics engineer

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• At least +5 years of relevant experience, preferably in fast-paced startups or consumer goods industries
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and a natural aptitude for working with numbers
• Familiarity with Tableau and other BI tools is an advantage
• Fluency in English; German is a plus
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills to manage diverse tasks and liaise effectively with teams and senior leaders
• Autonomous working style and independent thinker
